Blue Mountains musician Jimmi Carr is releasing the new single “Edge of a Storm (Radio Version)”. This is a psychedelic pop song with dense harmonies and shifting rhythms and time signatures. The hooks are big, and the trip is scenic. The “radio version” is a new mix with new vocals that doesn’t appear on the 2022 album Flight Cycle but will appear on an upcoming live and remixes album of Flight Cycle tracks called Spin Cycle. The “album version” from Flight Cycle is included here as a “b-side”.
Rhythms Magazine recently described Flight Cycle as -

“A sparkling diverse album… an exceptional collection of vibrant music.”

Tracks from the album have received airplay on ABC radio, Triple R in Melbourne and Triple Z in Brisbane, among many others. Jimmi Carr Band continue to tour in support of the new material.
