I want to tell you But I've got dirt on the tip of my tongue I don't want to hurt you I just want to break every one of your toys I want to believe you But all your lies seem to be choking my airways I don't want to defeat you There's just one thing that I want you to do Take all the pieces out And turn the puzzle upside-down (x 2) It's time to celebrate this waste of space Trying to see you Is making me blind with confusion and lies I don't want to free you I just want to mess with the secrets inside So much for dreaming The trouble I find is distorting my mind I don't want to be king There's just one thing that I'm trying to do Take all the pieces out And turn the puzzle upside-down (x 2) It's time to celebrate this waste of space Take all the pieces out And turn the puzzle upside-down (x 2) It's time to celebrate this waste of space Take all the pieces out And turn the puzzle upside-down (x 2) It's time to celebrate this waste of space

Want you to know your a beautiful girl Born of a woman but not of this world Want you to know my intentions are good Emotions are easily misunderstood Not gonna let you get away Not gonna let you get away This time Want to remember the beautiful days Lord I am grateful in so many ways Walk with me baby, into the great unknown Beautiful woman, don't leave me alone Not gonna let you get away Not gonna let you get away This time (x 3)

There are creatures In this world Right beside us Right beside us There are secrets in this earth Right beneath us There to feed us Bleed the earth Raise the dead Feed the earth Rise instead (x 2) Safe in houses Safe in beds Safe in numbers Safe in dread Bleed the earth Raise the dead Feed the earth Rise instead (x 2) Little children Walk the earth Learn to listen Learn to listen Bleed the earth Raise the dead Feed the earth Rise instead (x 2)

Chow Down 03:01
Yesterday I lost my cool Felt so good to be a fool Everything I ever knew Fell into a muddy pool Now I don't know what to do It feels so good to be adrift Cos in the eyes of everything I am exactly what I am ooh I feel it Do you feel it too I'm gonna lose my cool (x 2) I want to lose my cool Chow down at the table of a blind man I want to lose my cool And set sail on the sea of fools (x 2) I hope you're laughing on the other side of your face Cos where I'm sitting, smiling, seeming kinda out of place And everything is underneath the skin You can't get out, you can't get in everything is underneath the skin You can't get out, you can't get in ooh I feel it Do you feel it too I'm gonna lose my cool (x 2) I want to lose my cool Chow down at the table of a blind man I want to lose my cool And set sail on the sea of fools (x 2) Chow down at the feet of a blind man Set sail on the sea of fools Chow down at the feet of a blind man Set sail Yesterday I lost my cool Felt so good to be a fool Everything I ever knew Fell into a muddy pool

Simplify 03:55
Hi, who am I Where are you taking now Why, only just turned around Why are you taking me down People are walking around Like scattered herds, lost and disturbed All asking why don't things seem quite right Why are you taking us down World - Simplify Hearts - Testify Minds - Open wide Fear - Run and hide Hi, I'm in disguise Don't be alarmed, no need to shield your eyes I, you know I won't tell you lies Try to realise I aint taking you down World - Simplify Fear - Run and hide Sometimes I feel so old inside I wish the world could somehow simplify Sometimes I feel so old inside I wish my heart could somehow testify Hi, who am I Where are you taking now Why World - Simplify Hearts - Testify Minds - Open wide Fear - Run and hide

White People 04:05
White people make me sick But I'm one of them so why pretend I'd like to quit the force All of this killing is doing my head in Standing in the shadows with a love called anger Nail it to my soul, pay the bridge man's toll (x 2) Dead bodies floating in the sea Should have been us, I know it should have been me Yeah fuck you, I'm going back to my cave Just to behave like a caveman Standing in the shadows with a love called anger Nail it to my soul, pay the bridge man's toll (x 2) Standing in the shadows of a bloated America I'm swearing at my neighbours' dogs Standing in the shadows of a fear I can't name Maybe I should get me some drugs White people make me sick But I'm one of them so why pretend I'd like to quit the force All of this killing is doing my head in Standing in the shadows with a love called anger Nail it to my soul, pay the bridge man's toll (x 2) Standing in the shadows of a bloated America I'm swearing at my neighbours' dogs Standing in the shadows of a fear I can't name Maybe I should get me some guns Standing in the shadows of a bloated America I'm swearing at my neighbours' dogs Standing in the shadows of a fear I can't name Maybe I should get me some guns

Tell me what the hell is wrong With loving almost everyone What ever happened to love and compassion And all of that other groovational stuff It seams that too much is never enough I've had the blues since I don't know when I'm asking love to please come back again Everybody's feeling sad and alone Love, come on home Tell me what the hell is wrong With singing a dirty old rock and roll song What ever happened to singing and dancing And stomping and clapping.. and stuff Suffering baby, enough is enough I've had the blues since I don't know when I'm asking love to please come back again Everybody's feeling sad and alone Love, come on home (x 2) Tell me what the hell is wrong With loving almost everyone What ever happened to love and compassion And all of that other groovational stuff It seams that too much suffering is never enough I've had the blues since I don't know when I'm asking love to please come back again Everybody's feeling sad and alone Love, come on home (x 2)

Way Down 03:02
Way down low, where you never go We all know, something you don't know So why don't you go home (x 4) Way up high, there's no need to cry Better get yourself a new kind of perspective Cos we're all gonna die So why don't you go home (x 4) Where did the good times go Taken away by the devil you know Where did the good times go Taken away by the devil you know Way down low, where you never go We all know, something you don't know Where did the good times go Taken away by the devil you know Where did the good times go Taken away by the devil you know (x 2) Way down..

I'm a redneck funk machine.....

about

Jimmi's first album with his long term live band (of that era). All the Pieces is a raw slice of indie eclecticism with strong leanings towards Jimmi's grunge roots. All the Pieces is a double album with this, the 'electric disc' featuring wall to wall, 3 piece rock bangers. No frills. Just funk and rock.
The album was recorded in a big round earth-walled farm house in country Victoria. Some of the electric guitar parts were recorded outside.
